I'm glad I wasn't bleeding internally. I ended up leaving after waiting for at least an hour for the Dr to come in. Just to get a blood test done come now there is no ezxcuse for that

Always treated with professional and knowledgeable staff. Very good doctors and nurses.

I was brought to the ER for dizziness and headache. Tests were performed based on made up diagnosis by the attending doctor ("you have chest pain"). A urine screen was performed on deceitful practices ("sir, you cant get out of bed, so here is a urinal." ...I urinate...the nurse says she will empty the urinal...she leaves the room with the urine, apparently takes some without me knowing, then discards the rest. I later see a urine screen in my medical record and wonder how a sample was obtained). So far, no apology whatsoever from a doctor or nurse, just a woman that is PAID to write apology letters. Stay away, especially if you are from out of town and/or ride a motorcycle...the staff hates both and shows it very well!

I was treated horribly by the E.R. staff on the midnight shift. I had excellent staff members in the daylight shift they were awesome. I broke my ankle and came in by ambulance at like 10:30am. I was sent home it was a holiday. I got home and fell and had to go back. I was put in a room with nothing. Ignored for an hour.no button no offer to elevate my foot no ice for my foot I MEAN NOTHING! I eventually fell trying to reach my crutches hurt my tailbone and my shoulder. Was wheeled out in a broken wheelchair to wait for a ride and left alone for 20minutes.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I sat in the ER for over an hour and a half with severe abdominal pain, and not one person paid a bit of attention to me. I've suffered through this for over two weeks, but tonight it got way worse and I couldn't take it any longer. I realize they have other sick patients there, but that place was virtually empty when I arrived, and still nothing. They just don't care. And it is FILTHY on top of everything. This is not my first bad experience there, either. Unfortunately, I have UPMC health insurance and have no choice but to go to a UPMC facility. I had to drive from my home in Ohio only to be ignored and turn around and go home in the same amount of pain I showed up in. Sure hope I don't need to call an ambulance tonight. Thanks, UPMC. Stellar service once again. Not everyone is looking for drugs. I'll be finding a new insurance when this term ends, for sure! I certainly won't be paying for THAT kind of treatment through my own small business any longer.
